Crazy First Trigger point injections

Well, I finally went ahead and had my first trigger point injections. The doctor gave me 2 injections. I cried through the whole thing since needles terrify me. I am now hurting more than I did before, but I kinda expected that. So now we wait and see if it helps any. I have another appointment in a month.

I will keep you posted. I'm not even sure if I am going to have another one done or not. If it doesn't work then my doctor doesn't see any point in giving them to me. So far I hurt more than I ever have and the pain killers that he prescribed aren't really helping much with the pain. So I guess we will see.

So far the injections are not helping. They have actually made things worse. I hurt more now than I ever have and the painkillers the doc gave me don't work. The only thing they do is make me feel loopy, which I can't stand. But the pain is constant now and nothing makes it better.
