Default WorkPlace Safety

Well well well...I have complained about the ergonomics at our office for well over a year with nothing done...so I ended up going about getting an ergonomic assessment done, bought a new chair, footrest, etc...then last week someone went into work with braces on for 'Carpal Tunnel' and now things are 'going to change'. I swear it all has to do with it being a 'visible injury' and something people have heard of rather then TOS where there are no braces, etc.

On the bright side we are going to start a health and safety committee and the 'CT' person wants me to help out.. So this is where I plea to you guys...send me any links you can think of on work place safety, ergonomics, etc...I am in Canada but anything I can put in their hands to make things better is a good thing. Work has been a tough thing for me but I have toughed it out (pay the mortgage, etc) and I know after a week off (like last week) that I feel a visible 10% better then when I am at work (small amount I know but hey). I am hoping my new desk set-up will help.

I can't beleive it has taken this long to get ergnomics any attention. I want to get on this while the kettle is hot. Of course right now work thinls this is new chairs and ergonmic heyboards and stuff. I am hoping to get the OT back in to go over things in more detail office wide.

Thankx guys. You can post here or PM me.
