Heart Update and Just a rose to share

Sorry I am not on much, I have a lot of reading to do to catch up. I am functioning, but miss De dearly. My TOS is about mangement of symptoms. The Lexapro for my anxiety helps nerve pain, and valium the spasms. Oxycodone 5/325 helps the cervogenic headaches and chronic pain.

My Katie has not been to school since bullying got to the point she was being pinched and teased torturously in Jan. She had home bound tutoring. She is in therapy and refuses to go back in Aug. I checked into Cyber school, as a back up. She is extremly bright and tested extremly high, but lacks verbal/social skills. Will not communicate with therapist and a new one, femal is her next appointment Monday. she feels it is the bullys not her. We just want her to be more assertive and handle the anxiety she inherited from me.

My younger son is out of grief therapy, but still not back to work for the seizers he is suffering. I think it is the vegal nerve. He also has narcolepsy and restless leg syndrome, heart murmer is creating pain. THe older boy has hormone problems with the pituatary tumor, the prolactin levels are alright for now, but he has anger issues over things like a misplaced item. His son my grandson loves his mamma to death and Poppy too. He is three now.

My husband is trying to pick up overtime for my work loss, and we did an overnight trip to phila Monday and TUesday. I got to see the haunted penatentury that Al Capone stayed in. It was on Ghost Hunters, my fav show.

I am off work fighting some age and disability discrimination problems. My dream job turned to a living nightmare when they wanted to get me to quit for a position for a 19 yr old first year college student. A caseworkers daughter. To get me to quit they reduced hours, left me out of training and questioned my physical abilities to do my job if I am on SSDI.

I have been off a month now and hurts emotionally and financially. I refused to quit so they took me off the schedule. I did contact an attorney to see what my options are for unemployment being on SSDI. I wanted to get the job back, but it got to the point the closed the office door and not talk to me. The last day three times during my visits the supervisor was challanging me and riding me about a missed training no one told me about.
I am working on an aftercare program at the middle school for latch key kids and it may turn into a paid position.
I know this is where I am beign led, I just have to trust that the pay is there.

But, I take time to stop and smell my roses and share one here. I bought this bush for De. They smell as good as it looks.
Enjoy it as I do.

Heart

what a beautiful rose, Di! Thank you for sharing it with us!!

Fight the discrimination as best you can (legally), Remember, you go before others. But the latchkey program sounds way more rewarding - I'm sure some pay will be there - but it might have to be after Jan 21.

Praying for some peace and comfort for you and your family,
Anne

I'm sorry you are going through so much. Sometimes it seems like it's one thing after another, doesn't it? I'll keep you in my thoughts and prayers.

Good luck!
