thank you.... i'm still amazed that I wasn't injured severely. It scared everyone, but especially my wife, my sister, and my mother. Vic- she said the same thing, and i can't help but think that I really did have someone watching over me. Anyways... i'm car shopping now, and have no idea what i want. rather, no idea what i'll like that i can afford. maybe a bubble ..

I did find this in the back of one of the car magazines i read
http://www.armsaver.com/

i may get one, since it looks like it would work better than the pillow i put under my arm.

i hope everyone is well!

Got smacked with reality. My WC settlement is absolutely crappy and it is not with future medical care.
I'm not ready to say more than that tonight.

Shocked

OMG Dabbo
I am so glad that you are OK. That is a heck of a front end on a Camaro.
If anything happened at least it could have been to the end to shake something back in place, and not make any thing worse!
The poor car......
Get well soon, and I hope you find a good car. Be careful

Glad to hear you are ok! Very scary! Happy Easter to all and hope you had a nice holiday. I am getting ready to drive my daughter back to NY. Linda

Dabbo -

When choosing to replace transportation, now that we're "sick", try to not buy a brand new (waste of money) but maybe one year or two year old, and of course, reliability vs. good looks.

I used to have sporty "cool" cars...now I think "how dumb."

I look at my closet - I live in old PJs for 5 1/2 years, but I see 50 pairs of shoes, beautiful clothes, amazing jewelry from "before" but still have tags on them..."how dumb."

I did have a GREAT savings...but this has depleted it. Wish I'd saved more.

BUT, I wish I'd pushed for voice use computer, and not worked another year...that made RSD.

BEST of luck on your next move, I know you're fighting so hard.

thursday, sorry to hear of this disappointment. when you can post, I'm curious to hear what they gave you. Will you get SS pay?

Dabbo - what a scare! Glad you are all OK. Tamara is right, go for an older model car - I'm thrilled with my 2003 Acura. easy to steer, easy doors to open/close and best of all heated power seats!

I'm hanging in. This spring has been some wild weather, with all the associated aches and pains. I may try to go back for some Feldenkrais PT, maybe one a month? anyhow, I feel like I'm treading water. I'll take it.

Anne

Spent a lovely, and very hot for San Francisco, day outdoors at the Cherry Blossom Festival in Japantown. It was great I had shaved ice Hawaiian style! The parade was wonderful and the people watching was better than anything on TV I am willing to wager I also saw Crank 2: High Voltage and it was bonkers. Great day

Thursday, sounds like you had a fun day! People watching can be the best, and I am sure in San Fran.

I am having a major pain issue and don't know where to turn. I now have RSD and my whole body is in pain. I am trying to find a local doctor while I wait for Ketamine infusions in Philly. That can't be done until Sept. and I am losing my mind! Pain is a level 8 all the time. If anyone knows a doctor in the Jersey/Penn/NYC area who deals with RSD, let me know. I think I will post a thread because I am at the end. Linda

Hang in there, Linda. I know it's bad. I hope you find help soon.

Do make a new post to ask for doctors.
