Tied, I dreaded stepping on those when I was a kid!
Been ok here.... saw my sleep doctor, and we're going to try Nu-vigil ...the replacement for pro-vigil. We'll see how that works.

Pain has been up and down as usual, with darn sinus infections complicating everything.

i hope all are well and in less/lower pain.

Default Tos/rsd

Hi, I went to Mt. Sinai on Friday. In a nut shell I was told I DO NOT HAVE RSD! I definitely have a constriction in my right shoulder/neck/TOS.

I had x-rays today and am awaiting approval for MRI's. To think I was scheduled for ketamine infusions is scary.

I have had a rought few days. I will post tomorrow but cannot think straight right now. Have a good night everyone! linda

Honestly, I don't know where to go. I have appointments, as usual. I am starting to get discouraged. I have normally thought of myself as up beat but too much has happened, or not happened.

Feeling loss of support at home, if you know what I mean.

Unhappy

Having a really tough time. Husband is completely unsympathetic. I don't know what to do. REALLY don't know what to do. I always say or do the wrong thing.

This disease changes us mentally and physically and some are able to have a spouse who understands. I think I can go on the sticky's to find a place but any suggestions would be helpful. He doesn't read this site so I am not worried but would love some info, or place to turn.

Linda (always looking over me shoulder)

I think it changes us, but it changes them, too!!!

It must be hard to see me have !a good day, to be laughing and say "let's swim" or something I usually cannot do...

And then three days later I am writhing in bed, moaning, crying silently as the pain is so tortuous.

My partner does believe me, but when we fight he likes to throw my meds in as an accusation. Luckily, I've never abused them, nor drank, so he doesn't have much ammunition against me...hahaha.

But all in all he's taken care of me so I can't complain right now. These things seem to go in cycles.

What really helped my other half was to get into a MEN"S (not coed) group and get active with guys his age, hiking, golf, movies, etc., and they help to keep him grounded and away from drinking the stress away. There is a LOT of stress on our partners because other than drive us to docs, there's not much they can do to help us with an incurable condition.

Pray that God will work on his heart. I will for you.

Love Tam

Thanks Tam, As I said, nothing I do is right. I try and get in trouble for something. I believe I am a strong person so I am going to keep on - just get through - until things get better. It's kind of embarassing that I have to feel the way I feel mentally while trying to cope with this monster. Thanks for listening
