P.S. And hey guys I am sorry I did nto make note of Mark when I restarted the thread. Was just trying to help out an avoid the server crash. Plus I really did nto know the story behind it.

We are now on the new server so I hope Mark comes on soon and starts a new offical thread...I have the champagne chilling

Hi everyone,

first, hugs for all...
Hi Shell, Dabbo, Trixlyn ( how are you feeling )

Shell... did you gain ROM ? range of motion ?? I am hearing ya girl. I didn't think I would EVER get to where I am today ! I have 5 more PT visits and my Therapist said yesterday that I am pretty well set to be on my own by the end ! I have gained almost full motion as of today in the left shoulder !!!!!!!!!!

Shell..Is she pulling and stretching ?? Are you using heat before the stretching ? and Ice when she is finished ? It does hurt like heck. ( I'm sorry )

I also found that drinking anything with Acai in it and taking Flexamin helped alot I think too .... The Flex-a-min has MSM in it which helps promote the synovial fluid and strengthens the joint. Plus I am drinking Tropicana Rasberry-Acai.. and I drink Vitamin water with Blueberries and Acai

So maybe it might help you out ???? Well I hope that things get going for ya Shell..... Let me know if I can help ya .....

I am off today to do some errands... Hope everyone has a great Labor Day Weekend and let it be painfree !

Hugs to all,

Dolfinz

Default walked the dog today

Hi all,

hope the long weekend has been good for you all body and mind!
I am sooooo exhausted and tired lately. Changed meds and think I am still physically addicted to taking so much diazepam and percocet that when I don't take them I am a wreck physically

....ahhhh the physical need for a chemical in your brain....if only we could wish that away!! I don't need you go away...and woooooshhhhhh gone.....oh please pretty please....ok I guess I'll do the withdrawl thing.....not.....taper off and suffer mildly is the answer but it still sucks that all my nursing knowlage is a waste on myself!!!

All I accomplised was to walk the dog today and sleep a hell of a lot!!

hope your day on Tuesday is great and you can smile at something at least once!!!!
love and hugs to you all,
Victoria

Crazy

:Hi all. Thank you for your concern. I have had a few really bad days following the infusion. I am starting to notice now not neccesarily a change in the level of the pain, but in the quality.
It was burning, with a deep ache, and more! You all know what I mean. Anyway the burning has been reduced, but it almost seems that I am finding more muscular, and ligament type pain. I have noticed that the weakness is more pronounced in the right hand and arm than in the left.
So, I have been able to make some objective observations about my pain. If nothing else the lack of burning, and the added body knowledge has made it a good thing. (Well except for the 3" square bruise on my left collarbone from the infuser, it doesn't want to go away.)

Just saying hi. Haven't been here in awhile. Computer issues.
Oldest daughter started college. Little one starts kindergarten on friday. Lots of pain and doctor wants me to cut back on percocet. I understand why but how do you do it if the pain is the same???

Oh well, Best wishes to all! Linda

Hi everybody ! I hope everyone had a decent weekend !

Gibbrn... Beautiful artwork by the way... I do wire wrapping ( pendants and earrings ) and I love doing it.. it takes my mind off alot of things ! I know how you feel about new meds, old meds, blah blah.. I am on a new pain killer and it makes me super sleepy too ! and yes it does stink to have a chemical need , altho I have been able to only take 3 meds now ! I drink ALOT of Acai berry juice so maybe that is helping in some way ????

Trixlyn.. I am sorry you are not feeling any better.... It stinks not feeling good and having to look at that bruise I'm sure it doesn't look good, but it will heal and in no time you will start to feel a little better each day ! Hang in there !

Linjane... Nice to hear from ya... It must be nice in a way for them to go back to school but sad cause the little one is gone in the day !! I am glad I don't have to go thru that anymore ! I am on Vicodin but I just started on Tramadol... I want to cut back on Vic's and my PM Dr suggested the Tramadol. It's non narcotic so I hope this helps me .. I know what you are going thru... Hang int here ....

Hey Shelley.. Hope things are going good for ya !

Well this has been long enough.... I just wanted to stop by and say HI and hope everyone is having a decent week so far !

Hugs....

Dolfinz

Default Hi everyone!

I have had such a busy summer and havent been around here much. Now that the kid is back in school I had a moment to stop by and say hello!

Sounds like everyone is doing okay... I have been able to continue to run, hike, mountain bike and road bike this summer but yesterday, now that the kid is back in school and my whole day doesnt revolve around getting him to one place or another, I cleaned the entire house. It needed it desperatly! I was also hoping to re-paint the kitchen next week. Anyway, cleaning really flairs up the TOS. Any type of action, like scrubbing the tiles in the shower, scrubbing the kitchen sink (applying pressure and using a back and forth, or up and down movement) makes my arm ache and go numb! Seriously, how is it possible that cleaning hurts, but mountain biking doesnt? And how am I going to try to explain this to the husband and kid when I ask them to do it? "You guys clean the shower because it hurts me too much, while I go for a mountain bike ride." I'll let you know how that flys! HA!

Hope you all have a great day - that doesnt involve cleaning your house!

According to Dr. J & , my PT
The more you move cardio wise, the more blood flow you have to your compressed areas. Housekeeping is repetitive & raising your arms. The natural seratonin comes alive when bike riding.
