Before I complain... I got a letter from my old Insurance FINALLY and they reversed their denial of my botox (type B) and WOOOHOO they're gonna cover it!!!!

I think the last 5 weeks have been the most painful in the last year-18 months. I could hardly pick up anything with my left hand without shooting pain/seeing stars. Breakthru meds helped, but only so much . My hand/arm swelled more than ever, and then my freakin hand got cold. The frustrating thing is that I can't figure out WHAT triggered it. Anywho.. I went to my PM tuesday; it had been 18 mo since my last nerve block, so we did one of those on tuesday.

Mark- enjoy the new dog!! (and I'm sorry to hear about your last dog- it is hard to lose a pet especially after that long).

No snow in Nashville (woohoo!) but its going to get cold AGAIN this weekend... like down into the upper 20's, probably the mid-20's out in the sticks where I live. I hate this time of year here... it will get "warm" 40's-50's with an odd 65 day, and suddenly it'll be in the 20-30s, and then get warm again, etc. My body doesn't like all that changing.

Good morning everyone !

Just wanted to say thanks Jo, Mark , Dabbo and Victoria for the well wishes...

Mark is that the puppy or a new one ?? He is adorable !!! Dabbo I'm sorry your going thru all the pain..... I hope it relaxes a bit soon !

Jo -I know that he needed to be with his kids... but it has been almost 2 weeks and no calls and the last time I saws him was last Wed.. so I can take a hint....

I am leaving sooner to go to Florida tho ! I leave on the 11th vs Jan. 1st....
so at least I have something to look forward to . I have been making more jewelery.. at least I have more time to spend on that. I did go to the Dr. last week and they have diagnosed Bipolar type 2 and they put me on a new med... Abilify.. which I love it keeps me calm and gives me more energy.. maybe a little too much. notice the time is 3:00 a.m.... I can't sleep for longer than 5 hours now !!

Well enough for now.. I hope everyone has a somewhat pain free day today..

Hugs and blessings,

Dolfinz

Just having a heavy day.
My roomate's cat is doing terrible and may have to be put to sleep this weekend.
I went to a b.day for a friend last night who is sure that her serious boyfriend is about to leave her.
While I was out supporting her her I got a message from another friend that his mother may not survive her cancer battle and it might be sooner than later.
And in the middle of this, I got my rating letter form the QME and now I have to face the reality of negotiating a better settlement.
I just needed to get that off my chest. I'm going to try to deal with all of the above in the best ways I can. One thing at a time.

One more thing about today. I passed out a few hours ago. Complete black-out midsentence hitting my head on a countertop on the way down.
I don't know why!!!! I had vertigo for a full 15 minutes earlier this week. I can't connect the two events because the situations were so different. The vertigo event I was a passenger in a car (I've never had car sickness in my life tho!!). Tonite's event I had taken 650mg tylenol, 50mg Ultram, 25 Elavil w/ a grande coffee all at the same time. I'm thinkin shakes from caffiene and the Ultram maybe?? I dunno. but it was scary

Thank you so much Dol. I know you've had tough times too I am feeling better today both physically and mentally. I had a good cry last night with the friend that has a sick parent and that felt very cathartic. Where I hit my head has no bump or anything !! And I've been on minimal meds today and eating real meals just in case it was a blood sugar faint.
Anxious to start a new week stronger than before

Do you know how long you were out?
Or was it a quick "out" & down and then you came too quite soon after?
If it was just a quick thing- maybe it was the caffeine & meds combo.

I hope ya don't try the combo again to test it though

I was luckily w/ a friend and she says I was out for about 30 seconds. She was smacking me and putting water on my face for some time before I came to

I am heading off to my pharmacist now cos I got dizzy again last night while walking my dog. Don't know what its all about cos the med combo was different. Gonna ask the pharmacist if I may be anemic. I don't eat many veggies or red meat AND I am on NSAIDs all the time for two years now...
So I'm gonna get a double cheesburger and salad from Burger King too! :P
Thanks for the concern guys! I'll update if I get to the bottom of all this.

**In other news**
What happened with the gathering this weekend? Were yall able to or did the fires crash the event? I hope all my So-Cal state-mates are Ok!!
