Is pain in the feet a symptom for TOS. Recently I started having these pains and would like to know if it is a symptom of TOS or possibly something else.
Thanks. |

hi,
i posted a thread a while ago about foot numbness - a lot of the guys responded and it seems that quite a few of us have foot numbness, it seems quite a bit coincidence that we all have tos too.... dont think we touched on foot pain - just on off numbness... |

Hi everyone..
I was just diagnosed 2 weeks ago with Planter Faciaitis .. the joint on the bottom of the foot was frozen( hurt alot !) and this is all of a sudden too. I never had foot problems and all of a sudden I am being fitted for Orthonics ?? !! It's depressing.. I think it has alot to do with the TOS and RSD.I had to see a Podiatrist.. ( why do Dr's not like them ?) Hang in there.. lots of hugs... Dolfinz |

Finz- I had the same dx about 2-3 weeks ago. It came out of nowhere all of a sudden too. I haven't gone to a podiatrist yet, but I have been doing streches for it. Walking just hurts now!

Hey Dabbo hope things are well with you !!!
Isn't it weird ???? Ya, it just came out of nowhere ! I never had any problems with my feet until now ! I guess I have to be fitted for Orthonics ? Foot inserts. Wow this disease stinks ! I hope you feel better dabbo.. I use a frozen water bottle and roll my foot as much as I can if the pain is to bad ! Take it easy MF..... Dolfinz |

Finz- I keep forgetting to freeze a bottle of water. I should probably do that now! Thats one of the things the doc suggested- he said it helps stretch the foot and the ice feels good...all at once! When do you get your orthotics? I hope they help.
have a good week MF

I was told I had Plantar Faciaitis as well and I found it really difficult to run as a basketball player without having to feel the pain. I was told by a friend of mine, who is pursuing on with his career to be a pharmacist to take Fish Oil pills. So I took his advice because you can buy them at any store, it's not over the counter, and after weeks of taking the pill and stretching the bottom of my feet I no longer felt the pain. Fish Oil does do wonders! |

11 years strong, and it's moved down on me, too -- I believe I'm in the plantar fasciaitis category as well. sorry if i spelled that wrong. but, yah, my feet get really painful every now and then, and I know that's what it is. Maybe it's connected to all of this somehow, because it seems like it's happening to a lot of us.

I haven't been diagnosed yet, but I have a numbing in my left leg when I stand or walk for any longer than 10 min. My feet swell also.
I had plantar fasciaitis a few years ago and found the stretching took care of that problem. I get alot of cramping in my feet at night. |

Hi everyone !!
Sorry for not writing sooner , but was on a trip..... Well, there are some updates on my feet ! I did get the Orthotics on Sept.. 23.. At first my feet hurt for a bit, but they felt alot studier and and supported. I wore them for the entire trip ( 10days) and when I got back, I saw the Podiatrist and he modified them again because my arch wasn't up against the insert as much as he would of liked it . So I am now getting used to a higher arch. My Tarsal Tunnel( the joint on the bottom of your foot) keeps freezing up tho and that hurts ! Especially if I walk barefoot... and the turning in on both ankles seems to be getting better also. Whew ! That's alot of stuff going there down there !! I would suggest Dabbo if you can see a foot doctor , maybe it will help... I too take Fish Oil and do the stretching, but I think because I have Tarsal Tunnel and the Pronated ankles that I need a little more than that ! I hope everyone is doing o.k..... I hope everyone has a great weekend.. Hugs to everyone! Dolfinz |
