ummm!!!!

I've had similar armpit symptoms. I would blow up 3" balloons and place them comfortably in my armpits to help with that. seemed to provide noticeable relief.

I also learned from another post that keeping your elbows as straight as possible with your palms up helps tremendously.

I had that "can't hold on to anything because my paws don't have glue on them" scenario. It's just tough to do anything. At that time, I remember I did not like moving my arms away from my sides at all. It hurt and caused me to just kring (dont know how to spell that either) with pain on movement.

I am supposed to get an MRI-- my doctor thinks I have TOS and now that I read the symptoms everyone is having things are beginning to make sense. I have seen so many doctors and none have been able to diagnose me. I have had recurring dizziness, fainting, pain in arms and legs as well as many other symptoms. I am glad to see that there may be an answer that explains it all. Not knowing is really frustrating.

I have alot of symptoms mentioned here.My problems started back in Dec. 2005 when I started getting this crawling sensation from my neck into my head.I had a spell @ work where I thought I was passing out..got shaky,felt like someone shoved a pole in the back of my neck and was turning it(muscle spasm?) and couldn't breathe....said I was having anxiety attacks.

My job was putting a faceplate on a instrument panel(truck dashboard).I was constantly in an arms out position...pushing this panel onto the IP.
Then I later moved to the paint dept.Now am doing alot of overhead work.Recently diagnosed w/ TOS(right side)...going to PT for about 2 months now.
My question is this...I am having 1st rib mobilization(think that's what it is called).The PT jabs her fingers into my neck/shoulder area then pushes into it and dang it hurts!!!Like burning stabbing pain...My eyes water when she does this.She said it will hurt but it has to be done...anyone else have this done?Also she has started traction(only done once,maybe too early to wig out about?) which doesn't really hurt but I have alot of odd feeling in head afterward...like a day afterward.
We do heat,ultra-sound,hand-bike, neck stretches,ball exercises,band exercises,strated doing bow-flex exercises ends w/ stimulation/heat.

My main complaint is horrible headaches,eye pain,and dizziness.I take tylenol for pain.Should I be on an anti-inflammatory?I have flexirils for muscle aches when needed and they help alot,too....

since 91 my neck tugs on my lower lip causin drooling.

was worse then as did it while awake. now it is limited to nightime. my pillows get smelly funky pretty fast.

my numbness is now limited to grocery carrying but my thumb used to be numb all the time.

pinky hell if i type too much.

lots of forearm pain both sides.

headaches i wake up with and still have at bedtime.

crows feet a permanent feature.

people misinterprete my face and body lannguage (as if being in pain is a predictor for a bad personality)

the urge to say "off with her head" when describing the latest headache.

anyone laughing yet?

One symptom I wanted to add to my laundry list is right hand: painless electric-current-like tingling/numbness in between pointer finger & thumb whenever I scratch it lightly with my nails. Its a feeling of pins & needles that I feel well beyond the area I am physically contacting.
Weirdness.

This is an older post but I am hoping you are still out there- did you ever have surgery? Your symptoms sound almost exactly like mine- I am contemplating surgery......are you better or worse now?

quick silly question, when you all talk about "burning"...my arms feel warm and feverish, that's not the same right?

also interestingly my forearms have never given me any trouble.

pinched elbows
numb fingers (all..all the time)
dead arms
i used to get really bad tingling in my pinky/ring fingers now it's just a light tingling on top of all my fingers
really swollen triceps/inside elbow

that's daily if i do something stupid like sit at my laptop in a bad position

swollen chest, swollen shoulders stabbing pains meanwhile my bicep/rest of arm is totally cold, then the swelling spreads down to my arms/fingers like an hour later
