Default Pain in Feet

Is pain in the feet a symptom for TOS. Recently I started having these pains and would like to know if it is a symptom of TOS or possibly something else.

Thanks.

hi,

i posted a thread a while ago about foot numbness - a lot of the guys responded and it seems that quite a few of us have foot numbness, it seems quite a bit coincidence that we all have tos too....

dont think we touched on foot pain - just on off numbness...

Hi everyone..

I was just diagnosed 2 weeks ago with Planter Faciaitis .. the joint on the bottom of the foot was frozen( hurt alot !) and this is all of a sudden too. I never had foot problems and all of a sudden I am being fitted for Orthonics ?? !! It's depressing.. I think it has alot to do with the TOS and RSD.I had to see a Podiatrist.. ( why do Dr's not like them ?)

Hang in there.. lots of hugs...

Finz- I had the same dx about 2-3 weeks ago. It came out of nowhere all of a sudden too. I haven't gone to a podiatrist yet, but I have been doing streches for it. Walking just hurts now!

Hey Dabbo hope things are well with you !!!

Isn't it weird ???? Ya, it just came out of nowhere ! I never had any problems with my feet until now ! I guess I have to be fitted for Orthonics ? Foot inserts.

Wow this disease stinks ! I hope you feel better dabbo.. I use a frozen water bottle and roll my foot as much as I can if the pain is to bad !

Take it easy MF.....

Finz- I keep forgetting to freeze a bottle of water. I should probably do that now! Thats one of the things the doc suggested- he said it helps stretch the foot and the ice feels good...all at once! When do you get your orthotics? I hope they help.
have a good week MF

Hi Dabbo, Sunny, And Tracey.. Hope you all are doing o.k. ??!!

Tracey.. Have you seen a Dr' yet about the feet ?

Dabbo... I found that the frozen bottle worked great for me ! I also use a small rubber ball first thing in the morning when I get out of bed.. roll the ball for a minute or two and that loosens up the muscles...

Well I had to have my Dr. write a letter sating that it was a life and safety issue that I see a podiatrist.... and my PC wrote it and sent it to me and I brought the letter up today( to the Podiatrist .. too many Dr's !). She said that some time this week the lab will cast my feet, then I guess they will make the arch supports from that ! The foot is doing a little better since he put sticky tabs in my inserts to help keep the arch up. It is quite painful huh ??

Dabbo are you going to see someone ?? I think you should... Well I am off to bed.. I started on a new Pain Med and it makes me super sleepy !!

Hang in there MF and let me know how things go .... Tracey and Sunny I hope you guys are doing o.k...... Hugs to everyone

I doubt any doctor would say foot pain and numbness is attributed to TOS.

However, I think (for what ever its worth) that when you have TOS it messes up your entire bodies 'balance', feet go numb, head hurts, whatever... Since I have vascular TOS I believe the entire right side of my body is a little 'off kilter'. For example, even though my vains in the shoulder and upper arm are clearly negitively effected by TOS, nobody can explain why the veins in my right leg are distended as well. Probably just vericose veins starting, or its just one of those things...

Hi everybody !
I was just wondering how everyone is doing with the feet problems ?????
Dabbo.. I got fitted for Orthotics on Tuesday.. It was just putting your feet into foam blocks and the guy pushes down and it makes and impression.. a couple weeks and the inserts will be ready .. The foot is a little better too.
Hope everyone is getting along and hugs for a pain free weekend.

Hello:

I just wanted to elaborate on my original post. I guess it is more numbness than pain. It's more in my right foot and sometimes spreads up my right shin. My right side is more affected by TOS than my left, so maybe something is just out of whack with the right side of my body. It's interesting to see that other people also have numbness in their feet.
