Wink TOS Humor: "You know it's sad when..."

I'm sure most of us can join in and add to this. although it might be duplicated on another thread. Anyhow, this actually just happened to me. A sad realization:

"You know it's sad when... you get your nails done to match your bathrobe."

You know its sad when.....you have to wear sweatpants just for the ease of getting them up and down for restroom times.

You know it's sad when... you finally get not one, but two wrist splints with thumb spicas, for the left and right wrists, just to find out the next morning that toilet paper sticks to them.

Nothing like overstating the obvious.

Yeah, it drives me crazy when people start suggesting things like exercise or Aleve. Like in 10 years I didn't consider that.

You know its sad when you go to give someone a hive five and then remember its a bad idea halfway thru execution and you make a awkward balled-up-sorta fist bumps to avoid the pain but try and maintain the "high-five" sentiment

......You are the designated sober person at a party given the duty of helping a drunk friend down the stairs.... but given you have TOS and are unable to actually catch a falling person, a less intoxicated party-goer points this fact out and then the drunks have to help themselves down the stairs.
oh boy, my friends are special......
