Default Dr.Ahn NO LONGER at UCLA

Thank GOD, there is a GOD--tho his timing is just not my timing. It appears some ethics committees are finally doing something about the bad TOS outcomes and someone in the system MUST have tattled on Dr. Ahn. He is NO LONGER on staff at UCLA---and by the sound of it--they might have asked him to leave. NO surgeon leaves a position like Ahn had unless they get a better offer at a more prestigious Medical Center like his former female chief got--or they are given the BOOT, or they have found a way to make more money with less bureaucratic red tape--which to me is a WARNING sign. He is at a private office now with Jordan and others and another surgeon who still is on staff at UCLA but Dr. Ahn is NO LONGER---meaning maybe he can help the other guy do surgeries there--I don't know--but he is using St. John's Hospital now to do his TOS surgeries. Now with Messina gone from UCSF also--and maybe for the same controversial reason tho I don't know---then the person who told me the OUTCOME of TOS surgeries over a 15 year period was NOT VERY GOOD--and these surgeons doing them are either being forced to leave the major medical and university settings. THANK GOD!!!!! People I wouldn't be on this computer using my very bad arms and shoulders if I didn't have a VERY important message for you. These surgeries are can RUIN the REST of your life. There is NO atidote for SCAR tissue and you WILL scar down--any surgeon telling you differently is LYING. ASK for the research on these antiscarring agents--did the research come from well respected medical journals or some drug company handbook. Please do not make the mistakes I and various friends of mine made from reading internet sites and believing what we read...If docs like Annest can lie even in Journal of Vascular Surgery--saying that they "never made anyone worse"...then you must read from MANY sources. ...as he was in practice with Brantigan and one other then, when he was quoted saying that----and my sources tell me they DID make patients worse. Thank God--some ethics committee at UCLA has caught up with Ahn I'm assuming, or some colleague turned him in. No one leaves a position like he had-for a private surgery center--especially when I'm told by his own staff at his new center that he no longer is on staff at UCLA. I hope this helps some of you to broaden your views of what is motivating these doctors. I have lost my life figuring it out. Best, Triste
