I found a CIL (center for independent living) in Monroe. I suggest phoning them to find out if they can provide assistance in applying for SSD or SSI or any medical care, etc your state may offer for you.
hang in there!

I had a simarly difficult time getting dx'd with TOS. Plenty of docs told me that I didn't have it, but also said that they either didn't know what it was or didn't "believe" in it.

I contacted one of the surgeons listed in the list at the top of the forum to explain my predicament and ask him if he knew any docs in my area who do understand TOS. He saw me himself (and dx'd me) and then sent me to a neurologist he knew.

Check out the list and make some phone calls. Maybe they can still get WC to cover the appt if your case is not closed out yet

Good luck....i's a terrible situation to be in !

I checked with a few of them and none of them could recommend anyone in my area or in Memphis TN where I used to live. My attorney tells me that there is no way WC will pay for me to see any doctor of my choice.
