Red face

Thanks so much on starting the thread for me.

It was great to find all of you and to know that other people understand what happens when you have TOS.

It hot me hard and I have been working at it for over a year now and feel like I have gotten to 80% of what I used to be.

I am going to have surgery on Thursday to see if I can get even farther along. But started getting worried on Monday that maybe I shouldn't go down that path. Has anyone had any success stories or otherwise with a Dr. Filler or the nerve release surgery? What are the drawbacks?

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks
Shelley

Red face TOS pain: Cymbalta or Lyrica

Quick question....does anyone have any experience with using Cymbalta for TOS pain? I am using Lyrica right now but the weight gain sucks. Another doc mentioned that Cymbalta helps with the nerve pain but minimal weight gain.

Just wondering if anyone has an opinion or expereince.

Thanks

I'm gonna have to ask my doc about Cymbalta - i'm on keppra right now, which has helped. I took neurontin - didn't really work for me. I took lyrica- it worked great until i broke out in hives and couldn't breathe is anyone else on Keppra?

Wow, that was a scary repsone to Lyrica. Never heard of Keppra yet.

Well tomorrow I have surgery for my TOS. Talk to you on the other side.

Appreciate all your insights.
