Howdy, Thursday

I was wondering why you were not active lately. So sorry you're painwrecked. Hang in there. We're still here. I'm doing much better but still try to read and post here. It's a win-win project for me. I get help and hopefully give a few bits of info that gives someone relief or inspiration.

Here's a  4 U...

today i

today i chronicalled my dog's attempts at sign language. this is something i do daily to try to understand him better.

every day i wear my five finger shoes a bit longer. it is strange, at the beginning the bottom of my feet hurt because they have little padding, but i have a lot of padding. with each day my feet hurt a little less, and my knees feel better. i feel like i can build up to walking a lot further in these than i could before in tennies.

each day i wonder how long i can keep this wonderful job i have. about 3 times a year now they ask for volunteers to leave. we had another one last friday. i am told i am on the short list to go if they don't get enuf volunteers. i stay calm about it and plot to start a home business making enamelware. i am going to call if "broncoware". it would be perfect for camping, and the market will be for people losing their jobs and their homes and having to camp out like hoboes.

His eyes follow you around the room

Thursday, the dog sign language starts at this thread:

http://neurotalk.psychcentral.com/post567568-22.html

We also discovered that the dogs eyes follow you around the room. See attached.

When I can't figure out what he wants, I get on all fours and immitate him. I will begin by facing him and then I will make a turn towards the door (means want to go out?). If he gets all excited that's probably what he wants.

Sometimes I give him a good belly rub, and if he is still stabbing me with his paw after that, it means he wants to go out (assuming I have not forgotten to feed him).

Thursday....

I'm here. Just living with pain. I hate mornings cause sleeping is a killer on the body & i wake up in pain.

This morning I said "God, i hate waking up...another day of pain" going on 11 years

Sound familiar?
