Default Kneeling chair

I am getting one from a friend whenever I am able to transport it. I've been thinking for a while now that this is a good kind of chair for us TOS people. I will report back with my findings. But in the meantime: Has anybody used this kind of chair? What's your opinion?

Default looks a little hard on the knees

i have tried one of these before, as i remember it puts quite a bit of pressure on the knees. however, it does cause you not to slouch forward as much. i think the more variety you can put in your positions would be beneficial.

I had one of these, I used it for low back problems. It gave me some relief. I agree it's hard on your knees. A lot of pressure from loading all that weight towards the knees.

I would try it, though. I may give you much needed relief for short periods of time, and that may be just enough to put you up one more rung on the recovery ladder.

Thanks so much for the feedback guys!!
I hope I will only be seated at the computer for small intervals to give my knees, eyes, neck, hands and arms the breaks they need!!
I won't ditch the original office chair I have either so I can switch it up. .... maybe a Moshi pillow for the knee area would be good...
Thanks again!!

Just following up. Its been almost a month and I am happy with the kneeling chair
Its not a instant fix. I still tend to lean forward and strain my neck muscles but with a little attention I am back in line. My office set up is getting close to awesome and with a little more work in my room I will take a picture to share my solutions with you all.
I smell a new thread here because I'd love to see what works for others.....

Hey Thursday

I put a long dressing mirror at the side of my chair so I can keep an eye on my posture. I didn't know my posture was this bad at my computer workstation.

Try it. It helps. They eyes tell no lies.

I had one of these for several years. I found that I ended up with very sore knees and lower back.
