Hi all! I just turned down a neurologist in Oakland, because he just didn't comprehend TS at all. He was very out of the loop and didn't know much about the disorder, but he expressed that he was willing to learn about it?
Thing is, my TS is hitting a bit "wax"....I am constantly "moving"--my mind doesn't shut down. I am being referred to a new neurologist as soon as possible, but I am also very, very interested in an actual TS specialist. Does anyone know of one in the San Francisco bay area? I only have MediCal right now, but I am willing to pay out of pocket, within reason, at least (I am a poor student!) I would appreciate finding one who knows about the Bonnie G supplements, as I am going to try them out as soon as I can get help learning how to do them, how to work with the pills I am on now and getting off of said pills eventually....I mean, I'm tired of living like this. I am doing google searches, but I'd love some input. Do any of you know of a very good doctor in the area??? I know their out there--I just haven't found mine yet! Thanks so so much, you guys! Eagerly awaiting your response...I'll keep you updated with any and all information I find.
