I remember i got my permit first week in january... my mother forced me to drive every day that winter, especially when there was a storm... All i can say is, thank god she did, because when it came time for me to take my driving test, it started hailing about five minutes into it. If it weren't for all that practice driving in the snow/rain etc... i never would have passed, as about ten minutes into the test i was coming down a hill one way and couldnt stop at the intersection at the bottom, and the fellow coming in from the side couldn't stop either... we came within a foot of each other. The instructor must have been impressed with my ability not to freak out, and/or get us killed, as she nixed the last 30 minutes of the test, told me i passed and to just get us back to the dmv alive.....

Congrats to scott on his permit...
