Seeing James Durbin on American Idol gave me so much hope for my son. It was so inspiring to see a TS sufferer do so well.

Hi there,
Not sure who you mean on Idol, as I'm not in the US, but just wanted to say "g'day" and let you know that having Tics hasn't stopped thousands upon thousands of people from achieving their goals and living wonderfully happy and fulfilled lives. Sometimes life's obstacles get in the way, just as it is for everyone on earth. Also, if a child has another condition/s as well as the TS, then it can impact their journey more than the tics themselves... e.g. if for example they happen to have co-morbid OCD or ADHD and other things. take care there, Lara |
