Hi Katy,
Here's hoping that some helpful recommendations come out of this meeting. It's really concerning that your son is so down but with so much going on right now it's good to know he's at least talking to you and letting you know how he's feeling.

Crossing fingers for a helpful outcome from the meeting.

All good here. Feels as if it's been the longest summer ever. Very tiresome really, but that's weather.

Default Hi lara

Ok so Ashley started the adhd med he isnt well he has started with small hives on face numbness light headed and very weepy edgy and anxious if this happens over nxt few days im taking him off it.The meeting took place today to decide the support they could give him and they are employing a autistic specialist from the mental health service to assess and offer advice and support for ashley she will be employed 6 hours a week for him so hopefully they can get to the bottom of this.Put Ashley to bed as he is causing himself to panic he thinks he is dying and wants me to check him through the night to make sure he isnt dead poor boy is past himself.

Oh boy! What's he been prescribed? I think you may have said Adderall but I forget now. I hope he's OK. Poor boy.

I'm actually really pleased that the meeting was somewhat fruitful. Hopefully this new person at school will be a lot of help. It's not much time in a week, but it's a start.

It's been a terrible time for him and for you. I remember what it was like to be in the midst of chaos while doctors and schools couldn't seem to "get it". Thinking of you and your son.

Hi Katy,
It's been a little while now and I've been wondering how your son is doing.
I'm hoping some of the support services have been put in place by now and are helping.

Please let me know. I hope to hear he's doing better.

All the best for the Tuesday appointment!

I'm really sorry to hear about losing your student and subsequently your job. That's awful.

I guess due to the circumstances you wouldn't be able to have contact or know how he is faring with all the changes. I can only imagine how difficult that would be for you.

We're fine here. 1st term is just finished. Still waiting for summer to cool off. Longest and hottest summer I can remember. It's gone from Sept. to April and more to come I guess. I know, I know. Everyone wants a summer. I'm just waiting for it to go to the northern hemisphere.

take care of yourself.

Hi Lara, ash has been awarded two day at a independant special school a week and one session of specialist teaching .We are going to look at the school on wednesday.Ash doesnt want to thou but it is something we have to do.Ash has got his humming tic back and now developed a sniffing tic.He has had a major meltdown which led to a breakdown it was very hard to witness.Wot can u do wen u child is begging to b normal and for it all to go away.He has got abit more physical towards me too by means of pushing me my hubby wasnt very pleased and was very firm and angry with him for which led to the breakdown.Ashley really struggles to regulate his behaviour or understand that he is wrong. On a funny note we went to his grandmas and she told him she makes a mean chocolate cake in which Ashley replied "no you dont grandma u make a lovely chocolate cake" he took the mean literally it was quite funny but shows how he interpretates convos and takes words literally.Hope u r well and u family xx
