All the best for the Tuesday appointment!

I'm really sorry to hear about losing your student and subsequently your job. That's awful.

I guess due to the circumstances you wouldn't be able to have contact or know how he is faring with all the changes. I can only imagine how difficult that would be for you.

We're fine here. 1st term is just finished. Still waiting for summer to cool off. Longest and hottest summer I can remember. It's gone from Sept. to April and more to come I guess. I know, I know. Everyone wants a summer. I'm just waiting for it to go to the northern hemisphere.

take care of yourself.

Hi Lara, ash has been awarded two day at a independant special school a week and one session of specialist teaching .We are going to look at the school on wednesday.Ash doesnt want to thou but it is something we have to do.Ash has got his humming tic back and now developed a sniffing tic.He has had a major meltdown which led to a breakdown it was very hard to witness.Wot can u do wen u child is begging to b normal and for it all to go away.He has got abit more physical towards me too by means of pushing me my hubby wasnt very pleased and was very firm and angry with him for which led to the breakdown.Ashley really struggles to regulate his behaviour or understand that he is wrong. On a funny note we went to his grandmas and she told him she makes a mean chocolate cake in which Ashley replied "no you dont grandma u make a lovely chocolate cake" he took the mean literally it was quite funny but shows how he interpretates convos and takes words literally.Hope u r well and u family xx

Just when you get time, Katy, please let me know how your son is doing now that you have the couple of days
at the new school and the added specialist teaching.

I know it's been a transition time for your son, so he's probably finding all the changes quite difficult to deal with,
which is understandable, and that would be affecting his behaviour when he is at home. He still needs to know
right from wrong, so it's tough love parenting time. Hopefully that aggressive behaviour will settle down once he's
set up with a regular routine again. He's been on overload for quite some time now.

take care of yourself.

Hi Lara, Ashley has been at his new provision a couple of weeks now and is settling well .It is a very relaxed place in fact not a school but a house wiv dogs running around horses and chicks. The dog sits on his knee while working and is not discouraged at all. There are only six kids there and things are more simple as in he sees the same faces each time and not moving about classes etc.The specialist has observed him in his mainstream setting and agrees he has the charactics of Autism but she cant diagnose him she is a autistic specialist T/A but think they can help Ash and myself and help get the mental health to listen to me.She can see where the issues are and has good ideas.Ash has not improved in mainstream setting as yet.how r u huni?xx

Everything is sounding a lot more positive at last.
That's a really good thing.
The more relaxed environment even though only part time, might just be what he needs for the moment.

I'm well, Katy.
Thanks for asking.

Keep us posted and don't forget to look after yourself as well as the family.
