Default Chemar I read your child has Tourette's Sydrome

Hi Chemar, I read your child has Tourette's Syndrome, my granddaughter has it too and they wanted to start her on medication that made her worse. I had learned many of the medications can make it worse with permanent damage. Her doctor has her on blood pressure medication she takes 2 pills a day morning and night. She takes Clonidine 0.1 mg. This lowers her blood pressure because many people that have Tourette's are hyperactive. It is worse when she eats or drinks a lot of things with the dyes, especially red is the worst. This medication also, helps with ADD & or ADHD. Since people that have this are hyperactive they are not able to concentrate or keep focused. So by lowering their blood pressure it slows them down so they can concentrate much easier. Hope this helps. Sincerely, Kimbo
