Hi Chemar ! I am here, though running out shortly.

I was thinking of posting last night but it was OT. I read a short blip about baby formula (I believe powder) that has probiotics in it!! It already has Omega 3's and they've added probiotics to simulate breat milk!! Thought it was interesting.

Take care,
Tessa

hiya Tessa

that info re the baby formula sure aint OT to me....you know my soapbox song...healthy nutrition=healthy gut! healthy gut=improved overall health! Improved overall health=less intense waxing times of TS!

My son is really doing so well now, even with the added load of having Crohn's Disease. But we still notice an almost instant upswing in tics and OCD and just general moodiness, emotions, etc when he deviates too much from the nutrition that works for him.

Gotta tell ya...he amazes me at how he has taken charge of his own health care. Diligently reads labels bf eating/drinking, takes his supps without me nagging and even applies this to when out with or at friends......which is the really tuff one!!

I guess he has just learned so well what the consequences are for taking in junkfood and not taking in what his body seems to work best on.
Certainly a relief for me to know that he can look after himself in that respect!

to all and hope today is great and the weekend filled with fun stuff and good rest and relaxation

I'm usually around when I can be. Had an unusually cold snap of a week here this past week. I am not used to feeling cold. Not complaining too much though. Hopefully we'll be getting some rain shortly... maybe next week. We'll see. Maybe next year LOL Hard to know with the weather.

We're all just plodding along here as usual. Not much to report of significance.

Chemar, that's really good to hear about your son and his diet. I've noticed big changes in diet for my own son (who is on autism spectrum as well, so he's always had some issues with food). He doesn't always stick to it, but he's been maintaining a very good diet for quite a while now. Once upon a time not too long ago he used to get stuck on foods for weeks and wouldn't eat anything else. Used to freak me out. Now he's really into healthy choices. It's wonderful! (daughter is a bit like me, we love to eat and I love to cook, but we eat too much chocolate lol)
