it is great news isnt it!
Our school district has always been really good about providing needed accomodations, but I recall the many nightmare stories that people have posted in the past about their unbelievable struggles in getting even the most basic needs met for their child.............now at last they have this to back them up!!

BTW, welcome back FeelinGoofy

I remember when Scott was first diagnosed with tourettes, Insurance didn't want to pay because it was a psychological problem.... i thought Scotts neurologist was going to come unglued. She wrote our insurance company a letter, sent them all sorts of literature, and basically told them this kid had nothing psychologically wrong with him. His School did put him on a OHI IEP. Hes still on it, and we just love his contact teacher at the highschool. Shes such a wonderful laison for him....
