Default Magnesium Preparation

Hi Chemar,

How are you? I can't beleive how long it has been since I posted !! Kind of scary how time flies.

My question is about the magnesium that your son uses at night. can you say a bit more about it? I am thinking of someone I know ( a 17 y.o.) with TS and trouble sleeping. He is also diabetic.

Any side effects that you've noted? Is it expensive?

My best to you and your family. Your son must be getting ready to graduate soon?

All is very well here!

Take care,
Tessa

Hi Tessa How very good to see your post!

The Natural Calm is a specialized ionic form of magnesium citrate and rapidly absorbed. It comes in a powder that one mixes with liquid (tastes good too)
We get ours at iherb.com as it is cheapest there. Sometimes vitaminshoppe.com and their stores have it on sale.

as long as one sticks to the recommended dose there are no side effects that I am aware of but too much will cause loose stools

He gets additional supplemental magnesium from his morning multi shake too (Jarrow MultiFood)

stay in touch Tessa hope things are going very well for your son at college

Hi Tessa... nice to see you again. Yes TIME FLIES... wait until you get to be my age!

Diabetics lose magnesium in the urine. I know you like scientific papers so here are two:

and:
http://www.mgwater.com/diabetes.shtml

Hope this helps.

The most important thing is that make sure this person has
normal kidney functioning before any supplements.
If he gets loose stools, there are alternate supplements, on my magnesium thread here.
