Default second opinion

Well, I had a second opinion with a neurologist today and he is going to treat my headaches as post-concussion syndrome. The first neurologist who treated me after my first seizure and my fall from the hospital bed refused to acknowledge my headaches. So, for the past 9 months I have been suffering from headaches which may have been taken care of months ago if she would have just listened to me instead of trying to protect the hospital. This new neuro is going to start me on a low dose of nortriptyline. I am keeping my fingers crossed that this will work. I can't remember the last time I didn't have a headache. It was probably December 21, the day before my life changed.

I'm glad you have a dx and some hope! Keep up with this neuro and let us know how the meds help. It's amazing how these little battles can keep us going!
