Default Zoning, Daze, or Wee Seizures?

Hi everyone

I had a bunch of concussions when young which I talked about before.

I've been reading posts where people talk about seizures. No one has ever diagnosed these in me, but my family used to joke about my "phasing in and out" like that Traveller in Star Trek TNG. And--there was one incident when I was with my late wife on a cruise we took the summer before she died. We were sitting at a table for eight. I think I told this story buried in another post. Anyway, I was sitting next to a doctor and talking about something. Suddenly, he was looking at me with a strange look, and said "I swear you just had a petit mal seizure." As we had other things going on, I didn't get it looked at.

I've heard people talk about "absence seizures," etc. What are those?

EMWTK

thanks
