Hi Calson
I was going to suggest you run, not walk, to the doctor, but then thought it would be better to get a cab.... Then I saw you went to the doctor. Now, I'd suggest you go to a different doctor.

This reminds me of when my late wife had cancer that spread to the brain, but nobody knew yet. She had a nosebleed that wouldn't stop, so we took her to the ER. It just kept going until clear fluid was coming out. Nobody thought to investigate whether that was CS fluid, so the brain tumor went undiagnosed for another four months by which time she couldn't sign her own name, and we had to have her admitted to the psych ward.

Brains should not leak fluid, period. The problem is that doctors are under so much pressure from their administrations to crank people through and make profits, they do a lot of stereotyping. One stereotype out there is the "Internet Medical Nut" who comes in with all this information about some "rare" thing that is really "just" a cold, etc. This means that people who take the time to research their conditions can get blown off as easily as folks who don't.

From what you wrote, I'm sensing between the lines that you weren't taken seriously. People see what they expect to see, and a guy with a cold will taste salty stuff.

I'm really glad you are taking care of your head

If you're that concerned with it, you should try and find a neurologist in your area who is familier with the disorder. It's definitely a good idea to get a second, or even third opinion on it. But also keep in mind that this is flu/cold season and you may just have a bug that is bothering you.
