Thanks for the well wishes. I do have 3 brothers, but they live 4 hours away and have full-time jobs that keep them from helping over the weeks. They will be home on weekends, but I don't know how long that will last. It will be left up to me to take care of them, but I don't have any problems with this. My worry about the house is that the temptation for him to go up or down the stairs is great and I don't know how my mom will deal with that. He was much better last night and was joking around and knew who people were and what day it was. The PT is working with him on how to get out of bed safely, walk by himself, etc. Once he leaves the general floor which he is going to today, he has been accepted to the in-house rehab program. That will give the family some time to get things ready for him to come home. Having been through a moderate head injury, I can at least relate to some of the things he is going through. Again, thanks for the support.
