I like that. The 2010 Olympic Spring Games. Don't they call Victoria the Garden City or something like that? It is the Mediterranean Riviera of Canada. The flower growing season is forever. What difference could 30 miles of inland sea do to make Vancouver a winter city? If it wasn't for the rescue done by Mitt Romney at the Salt Lake City Winter Games, we would have been in trouble too. More from the corruption than the weather. I can only imagine what it would have been like if Chicago had been granted the Summer Games. Glad they went to Rio de Janiero. Canada's Own the Podium project sure shows what a country can do when they put their heart and money into it.
