It sounds like you should get checked out. I am more concerned that you may have injured any of the complex anatomy of the occipital condyle/C-1 and the related nerves and vascular structure.

I would suggest calling the various clinics in your area to find one that will accept you. They may have a payment program.

If this happened at work, Work Comp should help you out. otherwise, I would check out the clinics that cater to the uninsured and under-insured. They often focus on MediCaid patients.

Many of us who are insured have high deductibles and pay out of pocket for many services. The health care providers have payment programs for these situations that should be available to you.
