If by EEG treatment, she is talking about neurofeedback, it can be helpful. You get wired for an EEG but have a video monitor displaying either your brain waveform or a video game. The goal is the increase specific waveforms and to decrease other waveforms. It can be helpful.
This is called volitional neurofeedback or neuro biofeedback. Be aware of non-volitional neurotherapy. It uses electro-magnetic pulses to try to modify how the brain works. The patient just sits quietly as the device stimulates the brain. It has had serious adverse events. LENS and ROSHI are some brand names. So, you need further definition of the EEG treatment she is suggesting. Most neurologists are clueless about PCS. Ask her about the research done with her treatment methods.
