I slipped and fell in the bathroom Easter Sunday and hit my mid back on the bathtub and the base of my skull and neck on the soap dish. I immediately vomited eleven times. When I got to the ER they ignored my cries of pain in my head and treated me as if I had had an attack of pancreatitis and my headache was coming from my blood pressure 225/105. I started noticing at work that I was making mistakes and unable to stay awake and my head was killing me and still nauseous and coordination and vision problems. Then my left eye seemed like there was a cloud over it. I don't wear glasses on a normal basis. Now, I need to get back to work but I wake at 3 AM every morning in extreme pain and forget things told to me just ten minutes ago. I have a two and eleven year old boys and am wondering if I need to accept the home health assistance in order to get better faster. It is hard for me to care for them or even cook dinner for my boyfriend. I can't drive at night anymore either. anyone have any suggestions on how to get better faster? and is it true that watching tv is too much? I want to finish watching the playoffs but notice that I get extreme pain in my eye just watching them run back and forth on the screen. This is depressing

Sorry to hear of your struggles. You came to the right place.

It sure sounds like you suffered a concussion. The vomiting is a big clue.

Have you been checked out by a neurologist? The severeness of your continuing symptoms suggests a good neurological work-up.

You will also likely benefit from a chiropractor's treatment. I bet your back and neck are out of whack. Read the thread about chiropractors. Or do a search for chiropractor. There has been good discussion about chiro's.
