After 2 years of resting I am wondering I should push it through the symptoms? This seems to be a new approach opposite to take it easy. It mentions about the parts of the brain which went through trauma - getting to work, exercising the brain, regenerating and reenergizing specific brain functions specifically for mTBI.

The article seems somewhat vague about the validity of the 'therapy' these doctors are espousing. One thing it does not discuss is whether these soldiers have more intense problems once they return to duty and suffer further trauma.

A more controlled study would be interesting.

The claims about using this method to treat Alzheimer's Disease and Parkinson's Disease sound quite far fetched based on the years of research into these diseases that has already been done.

Those who have been successful with this "immersion therapy" or "desensitization therapy" may be at the low end of the scale for number and intensity of brain traumas. They also may be more effected by PTSD than PCS. The emotional components of the trauma may be at the core of their symptoms.

Resolving the emotional component of trauma can lead to remarkable improvements.

I am not disputing the claims. I am just interested in more thorough information.

I am interested only in the specific issues they mentioned for mTBI which correlates with my symptoms. Balance issues for example and multitasking. Seems like they also have vision training from the clip I watched. I do have vision issues and may be that is what causing most of the issues. Who knows? I may go back to Vision therapy with a good doctor (previous one I saw was interested only in money). I sure want to get back to Neurofeedback if possible.

Military doesn't make it public unless they have enough evidence it works. Ofcourse with mTBI/PCS no one can be sure what works and what doesn't. I am not seeing much progress anymore and I think if I don't take any steps I may end up like this and there is no way I can spend rest of my life like this. I am fighting the fight now. I am not looking for complete recovery right now but to the point where I can manage and willing to try any new approach/therapy except terrible medicines.

The military hs been discussing their research and other efforts with concussions for quite some time, regardless of whether they have been successful or not.

They have been trying to reassure the injured soldiers and their families that they are looking for solutions to mTBI, etc.
