It sounds like you may be suffering from absence seizures. These are seizures where one just stops interacting with their world and blanks out. They usually last a few seconds. You ought to keep a journal of these episodes. Get an appointment with a neuro and tell him about these episodes. He should also give you a full neuro exam .
