Was curious if anyone here has good, almost "normal" days only to be followed by days where you you feel like you have been hit by Mack truck??!! Yesterday I had what felt like pre-pcs energy only to wake up and pay the price dearly today....ugh!
Do you think it is the brain getting overloaded and saying "slow down"? It is very frustrating.....trying to keep it in perspective.... |

I'm at the three-month mark post-concussion. I had a good half-dozen setbacks during the first two months where I got slammed after feeling better and doing too much. So I totally get what you're talking about.
Things have improved over the last month or so. Over the last 3+ weeks I've had no setbacks and seem to have more of a stable "floor" underneath me. However, I've taken things pretty slowly - we'll see how I respond as I gradually increase my activity level. I still have a fair bit of room to improve on the upside (I'm probably around 70-75% overall). |

That is great that you have had such a solid few weeks! Around the 4 month mark things started improving for me quite a bit. Now at 9 mos I am seeing that I have periods of time that are as good as it is going to get, and then I may have what feels like a setback....but your point is excellent in terms of taking things slowly and pacing yourself, something that I am still working on! |
