Welcome to NeuroTalk. Sorry to hear of your struggles.

First, you are not NUTS. The symptoms you are experiencing are not uncommon to PCS. You would be wise to find a doctor who will take a stronger interest in finding out if there are treatable reasons for you current symptoms. A complete hormone blood panel is a very worthwhile diagnostics to demand.

It may help to find a doctor who has a better understanding of hormones. A generic endocrinologist is not always the best choice. You need a forward thinker who will did deeper. Many have had success finding a hormone specialist at https://www.womensinternational.com/..._referral.html It is primarily for women but also can direct to specialists who understand males. You sound like a male by your post. Forgive me if I am wrong.

Getting on a good nutritional regimen is very important. you brain is polluted with the toxic waste from your injuries. Good nutrition will help it clear these toxins. Do a search on this forum for nutrition. Lots of good posts over the past year or two.

Also, avoid caffeine and alcohol except for maybe a single serving per day. Avoid MSG and any processed soy ingredients. They are toxic to the brain, especially an injured brain.

There are a few drugs that can help. Amitriptyline and Nortriptyline in small doses (10 mgs per day) have show to help some people.

Also, it helps to modify your environment to lower your visual and auditory stressors.

Tell us more specifics of your worst symptoms and we can offer suggestions.

My best to you.
