I wish to make a journey which would require flying for an hour and a half in a commercial aeroplane.

Are there any doctors linked to this forum who may be able to advise and also has anybody had experience of flying whilst intermittently suffering quite strong symptoms from time to time. Things like nausea, being off balance, fatigue etc.

Thanks, Julie

good question, i am needing to know too for a possible trip to florida coming up

I have some bad news. I have another workers comp hearing b/c FedEx is refusing to let me go see a Neurologist again! At this point my parents and I almost want to sue them b/c of this.

I had a doctors appointment this morning and I'm off work for another month due to the consistent headaches and the fact that my balance has gotten worse. This sucks.

I experienced one the worst headaches tonight since I had my accident. I deal with a headache everyday but the one I had tonight was horrible. The pressure from the headache went into my face and it was excruciatingly painful. I started yelling b/c it hurt so bad and began to cry. I just want this to be over with. It's been nearly 7 months and still no progress b/c FedEx is denying me to see a neurologist b/c they're afraid of what is actually wrong with me. I hate dealing with this.....

Oh wow, I cannot imagine having to deal with all of that stress on TOP of your PCS condition. You absolutely need to see a neurologist to deal with this. My husband has constant headaches and they had to adjust his work environment to help. Doc's just said to take OTC meds to help. I'm so sorry for your pain and situation. They are negligent for not sending you to the hospital the night this happened, supervisors should know better than that.

I had my comp hearing last week and and the mediator caught my supervisors lying to his face and they could be in some serious trouble right now. The mediator said to my main supervisor that no matter what, you have to fill out an accident report.

Since the hearing I've noticed a couple things. I'm becoming paranoid b/c I don't know if FedEx has hired a PI again to watch my house at all times. I found out that if I do math problems my headache gets worse and my eyes start to bother me really bad. I might have developed Vertigo as well. I had my first case with it tonight at the Columbus Blue Jackets hockey game. I got real dizzy and my body felt like it was moving at all times yet I was sitting still...

when i am at a sporting event or watching it on tv, it makes me dizzy after as well. It takes a lot of eye and head movements to follow the puck (or ball depending on your sport) and it probably was stimulation overload. It was a sign that it was just too much for your body. I also notice that when my stress or anxiety is really high i have more weird symptoms popping up. Math kills me. I get such a headache and pure exhaustion after doing it. I was just working in an ICU and its a lot of math, formulas, and calculations. My doc even said to me in the very beginning that she thought math as going to be one of my struggles from areas of my brain affected. Hoping things go your way with your case. Sounds so stressful and overwhelming but i got a feeling you will come out on top!

My equilibrium is so screwed up right now it's not funny. My balance is so bad right now. If I'm standing still, I feel like I'm always in motion and I start to fall backwards. Half of the other time I'm constantly swaying side to side. My next appt. is Wed. so I have to let my doctor know about this.

Default Pcs

Hi, I would like to pass some info along to you about a specailized clinic in Guelph, ON that has had very good success treating the symptoms associated with PCS. Check out some of their youtube videos! *edit*

Anyways, I hope this helps someone!!
