Hi, there!!! I am looking for a tinnitus treatment research center in Atlanta, my ear is kind of loosing it’s hearing power and I am scared that it might be tinnitus. Any recommendation who provide services in reasonable rates.

marcusfond171,
Welcome to NeuroTalk. You have found a place with lots of people with tinnitus. There are very few who have success overcoming their tinnitus. Most with tinnitus use coping skills to ignore it. I am confused by your comment "my ear is kind of loosing it’s hearing power and I am scared that it might be tinnitus." I have chronic tinnitus but it does no effect my ability to hear unless I am trying to hear something that is very faint. You should get checked by an ENT (Ear Nose and Throat doctor) or at a hearing aid clinic. The hearing aid clinic can help you understand what is happening.

I went to my audiologist this week who said that I have had significant hearing loss in addition to my tinnitus. She said that both are a result of my accident and will not change. She recommended a certain hearing aid that helps the tinnitus, problem is my insurance won't pay for them and I don't have the $$ -- I recommend getting a hearing test and find out what the Doc suggests.
