Thumbs up Good morning! How are YOU feeling today?

Morning everyone! Just wondering how you guys feel today. I slept in a little longer than I normally do and I think it might have helped. Then again, it might be too soon to tell, lol. My symptoms don't usually show up until later in the day.

So how do you feel?

What do you have planned for today?

So far I'm feeling okay. I noticed when I stood up a minute ago I was a little dizzy, but not as bad as it was yesterday. My head is just slightly foggy but like I said I'm feeling better than I normally do. Hoping I can keep this up the majority of the day!

My plans for today - Probably just going to take it easy around the house. Gonna have a light breakfast and probably put some shows or a movie on Netflix. I gotta fill out the application for Victims of Crime to get some help on my medical bills. That's pretty much it. Nothing spectacular.

Hope you guys are doing okay and I hope everyone has a great day.

Glad you are having a decent day to start! Always good to hear!!
I dont know if you saw my other post about the TBI videos, but i watched these yesterday and it is awesome for explaining what we are going through. It may answer a lot of your questions or give you validation for the things you are feeling. It also may help your family to better understand PCS. This is the post.

I came across this great TBI video made by a man in Massachusetts who suffered a mTBI from a whiplash injury. I have to admit, some of the scenes gave me headaches because he tries to depict so accurately all the ways are brains are getting overloaded and does so in very creative ways. I think it also resonated with me because i am from Massachusetts and spent most of my nursing career in some of the hospitals he mentions...along with some of the boston analogies he uses. its in 6 parts, hopefully these links work. Otherwise, try Youtube for "You look great. Inside a TBI". its broken down in 6 parts. Let me know what you think!

Suffered a TBI with PCS on April 25th 2011 from multiple blows to the head from falling, unconscious for 12 hours with no memory of event. Hit the back of my head, and above right eye. MRI and CT negative. Symptoms included constant headaches (migraine, pressure, tension, icepicks), dizziness, tinnitus, visual changes, photophobia, fatigue, "spacing out", word finding difficulties, depression, and emotional lability.
Began Healing in November 2011 after starting acupuncture and Healing Touch (a nurturing energy therapy that promotes relaxation and pain relief). I went back to work in February 2012. Ive been symptom free since July 2012. Very happy, positive, energetic and working out every day, doing yoga, and living a normal life again!
I also began taking Healing Touch classes in November 2011 and completed 5 Levels of Healing Touch Certificate Program that included a 1 year mentorship to become a Healing Touch International Practitioner in June 2013. I am so pleased to offer this wonderful healing therapy to my patients, friends, and clients.

Most cheerful topic I've seen. Thanks for posting. Yesterday my response would be great. In fact I forgot to remove the sad face next to my name.

Last night I hit a tooth my toothbrush, though, and am now having nerve pain. Lord willing, the pain stops soon.
