Nick,

Do you have a blood pressure kits yet? You need to be able to take your blood pressure when you have these anxiety attacks. If your blood pressure is up during the anxiety attacks, getting your blood pressure down may help with the anxiety. The propanolol helps to reduce blood pressure and anxiety. It is quick acting and not a problem to take while taking an SSRI like Prozac.

Call that Nurse Practitioner and ask for a script for it. And, stop using the Ativan so you can start on the Prozac.

You will feel much better with the Prozac with propanolol as a back-up for occasional use.

Hope to hear you are doing better when I get back from a 3 day road trip.

My best to you.
