Default Hope

Today I realized I'm finally healed. It took me 10 months to heal this much. I feel the healing is finally at 100% complete. I even have my memory back.

I just wanted to take a minute to share this for some that may be at month 4 or so and wondering if it will never end. I was there!

Happy New Year. All the best to you all.

That is great news! I love reading posts like this. I'm at 4 1/2 months and hope I can post something like this in the future. At 3 months, I thought I was close to being over this, but then things fell apart again at 4 months. It's such a crazy rollercoaster ride! Happy new year to you and congratulations!

i'm six months post-concussion and i'd say im pretty much fully healed as well! i think often on this forum we don't hear about success stories because by the time someone is all better they are no longer interested in posting on this forum. it's something we want to put behind us. cheers to full recovery! (it certainly is possible and in fact the most common outcome)

As full recovery is the goal, it should also be combined with maintaining such good recovery. This will entail making choices about risky behaviors/activities.

There are plenty of sports and other activities that have a much less risk of head trauma that those than have been the cause of many concussions to people on this board.

I hope you all can find safe activities to be involved in.
