Nice one! Hope it's all still going well.

Going on days sounds good to me, I know it affects everyone differently but night shifts almost killed me, and that was before PCS. I wouldn't work nights again if you paid me £200 an hour.

Though for you there is the added complication that you will need to change your neurotalk username :winky:

HAHAHAHA You are right!!! I guess i cant call myself a night nurse anymore! 8 years of doing nights and now I'm a whole new person as a day nurse.

My husband has gone back to work again for his second attempt. How long have you had PCS before you have gone back and coped well? He's doing well. He's slowly getting back his hours. I think the anxiety of expecting his symptoms to flare up is a worry for him at the moment and is probably causing most of his concerns.

3 weeks after my accident, i went back to work for 3 shifts.....big failure. I then went back to work at the 3 month mark and lasted for 2 full months before my symptoms became so bad that my manager staged an intervention and refused to let me work until i saw my neurologist again, and i was taken out of work for over 3 months. So i am now at my 9 month mark and back to work for a few days now. My hours arent guaranteed as i am just picking up shifts until i find a permanent job. I have a big interview this morning for another hospital within our system in the CCU/MICU!! It is a part time days position. So 2- 12 hour shifts a week. Wish me luck!
