Was this in a new Beetle?

Does not sound like it did the job it was supposed to do. But, you survived the big rig.

It was....convertible even. A moment of silence for the poor Beetle. It actually held up really well. The guy was driving a dump truck sized commercial truck hauling a trailer with a front end loader on it. I was sitting still-he had to have been doing at the least 35 mph. Funny-it was a straightaway too-someone wasn't paying attention to the road. I was in traffic sitting still, so I've been told. I don't remember anything about it. Last thing I remember was about 10 minutes prior to the accident and waking up in the hospital.

My guy friends who I was going to meet for lunch, ironically enough, are fightfighters/paramedics/EMT's were some of the first on the scene. They were really surprised that the Beetle held up as well as it did. I got some really good care that day. I know everybody gets good care from these guys, but I really got the royal treatment. If it had to happen, it happened the way it was supposed to.
