Forgot to mention that the MRI (at least the one I was in) has a mirror so you can see the Tech in case you feel clast. Another issue I noticed was the uncontrollable twitching of my legs and for some reason i had tears that i was not able to reach to wipe away. Some do it with contrast. I had with and without. When they do the contrast, make sure they don't hold your arm out to the side real long or you might find that your arm goes all numb like mine did. He had to wait on the rest of the test until, it went back to normal.

I had earplugs and foam pads by my ears to secure my head, but it wasn't nearly enough. While I managed to calm myself down during the process and endure the noise, it had a very bad effect on me regardless; the problem wasn't enduring the MRI--it was what all that noise did to me by massively overstimulating my ears. Headphones with music might have been better; it's hard to say. However, I am feeling closer to baseline this morning, fortunately.
