Thanks to all of you for the kind words and encouragement. I put the person on "ignore." The whole situation has just made me much more self-conscious about what I post here, after the very unpleasant exchange with this person. I'll get over it.

Aside from that experience, this is a truly wonderful site, and I am very appreciative of you all for your advice and support. I also appreciate your willingness to share your personal experiences, which in many cases involve sensitive and private details that many people are afraid to confront.

I'll stick around and hopefully get used to posting regularly again.

Just my opinion.

I know where you're coming from. This is the first time I've logged on in weeks. Same reason. I've been confused about how a "know-it-all" with a self-inflated ego seems to carry so much validity here. I've gotten a few condesending emails also. No name was even necessary to be mentioned.

I'm sure I'm not the only member that has backed-off the forum because of this.

Can we let this thread end? It is not conducive to a strong community. It is also inappropriate to blame others without offering the full details and opposing views. If someone has a beef, take it private with PM's or report it to the moderators.

We have at least two new posters the past few days. They deserve our support.
