Default It's Almost Brain Injury Awareness Month!

Get your advocate hat on! Brain injury awareness month is March!!

http://www.biausa.org/brain-injury-awareness-month.htm

The website has a graphic you can use as well as boilerplate text for use on websites, Facebook, Twitter, letters to the editor, official proclamations and more!

The only other thing I could ask for is a little ribbon-y thing and wristbands!

Anybody know? Is there an official "color" for brain injury?

OH! I spoke too soon. They DO have wristbands: https://secure.biausa.org/detail.aspx?ID=540

Now we just need ribbons.

And I made a square image you can use as your avatar on Facebook or Twitter or whatever. Download here:

Any other ideas?

Here's a Zazzle store I found that has cute buttons and keychains and T-shirts: http://www.zazzle.com/gifts?cg=19618...8&ch=msmihalov

I like the blue of those wrist bands better than the green theme in that zazzle collection, I vote for blue lol I wonder if there's any place to buy stuff like that in stores locally? Not sure what sort of place would take a special interest in a cause like TBI though, it's not like you would expect Walmart to clear out their seasonal department to stock up for TBI/BIA Awareness

I agree, I like the blue better too. But I like a lot of the sayings on the Zazzle store. I think the "loading time" button would be good for me to wear pretty much everywhere

Only thing, did they have to print "March" so small?

Thanks for the info. Didn't know about this last year.

So it might be a good time to contact a state branch to find out if something's going on. I couldn't find anything on the national site itself in the link.

Maybe a good time to visit a nuerofeedback specialist to try to get relief from chronic pain? It would be great to promote the site and possible ways to relieve pain to those who don't know.
