Thanks to everyone that replied. I'm looking into the accupunture locally. Insurance probably won't cover.

I had a Healing Touch practitioner call on me while I was inpatient. I thought that I felt some relief, but I was on so many drugs at the time and my memory is so spotty from the first month following the concussion.

I'm trying to locate this practioner, but haven't had much sucess as yet.

There are two different Healing Touch websites you should try and look for her on there. If she is practicing in the hospital....she definetly has her contact info in the registry. Healing Touch broke off into two programs, but both started by the same nurse. They are pretty much the exact same thing, just called two different names. Healing Touch International and Healing Touch Program. Check out both their websites. But I'm sure whoever you go to in your area will be wonderful and well worth it!

Also, some acupuncture is covered by insurance as well. Check with your plan. Mine covers 20 visits a year and i have a $15 copay. Best benefit i have!
