Default Tufts Heart-Brain Diet

For those interested, Tufts University's Health & Nutrition Letter recently published a special report titled "The Heart-Brain Diet: Essential Nutrition for Healthy Longevity" (2011). I received a copy yesterday. It provides an accessible overview of brain-friendly nutrition (including a primer on brain and heart health, along with a sample 7-day menu planner). Worth a read, especially if you're relatively new to the subject.

Hi Greenfrog, do you still have a copy of this particular special report? I contacted Tufts and they no longer seem to have a copy either in print or electronic format.

I happened across your posting while researching for it online.

Feel free to email me direct at my profile (i joined just so that I could ask you this question

thanks!
George

The issue was published by the editors of the Tufts Health and Nutrition Letter. You could try their customer service line at 1-800-274-7581 or www.tuftshealthletter.com. good luck

I searched 2 years worth of those letters myself...and that topic does not appear. 2011 and 2012.

It's a "Special Report" published by the editors. If you call the 800 customer service # they may be able to get you a copy.

Red face

testing link again:
http://www.nutrition.tufts.edu/sites...AGspring06.pdf

Okay, I just reposted the link to the nutrition magazine.
And tested the link, and it works. I suspect this article may have
been the basis of the 2011 that George seeks. This article is about heart healthy diet that also helps the brain.

Here is a link to their archives... I tested every one of 2011 including the special reports tab and NOTHING.
http://www.tuftshealthletter.com/Issues.aspx

@George--- try this pdf and see what you think.
I am sorry the link seemed to not paste in here correctly. I don't know how that happened. But I tested this one and it did go there to the magazine this time.

Thanks both, I had contacted Tufts first, at Customer_ServiceTuftsHealthandNutrition_info. They replied that they do not have any online, electronic, pdf, or print version of this document.

I just sent an email to the publisher, Belvoir, witht he isbn#, thank you Greenfrog.

MrsD, yes, I searched both 2011 and 2012 online archives, no luck. Thanks for the pdf, yes, I can view it fine; however, I think the one I'm looking for has a 7-day diet (what I was told and why I'm looking for it among other interests).

Greenfrog, can you confirm whether the copy you have has a 7-day diet?

thanks
