Default New program

Ok, i went to my neurologist yesterday, he was my 3rd neurologist lol choosed him because hes from my local area and i didnt wanted to drive to capital city.

Since i can be a normal person, people who dont know i got TBI wont even notice i have it, he suggested to be more brave, start walking a lot outside what im already lately doing and things like that. Got 2 more Physical therapist appointments left with shoulders electro stimulation.

Wanted to ask about new medicine he prescribed to me.
Since those are European you may not know them but maybe you will

1.Finlepsin 200mg, im drinking it twice per day and 1/2
2.Sirdalud 2mg the same usage
3.And last one is some kinda pills, iv read that it may be used even for "schizophrenia" aswell lol. Its called Haloperidol, im taking 4pills in suggar 3 times in a day.

If anyone got some experience, thanks!

Finlepsin is known in the states as carbamazepine
an anticonvulsant (anti-seizure ) and specific analgesic (pain relief) for trigeminal neuralgia
It is sometimes used for affective disorders like Bi-polar affective disorder

Siralud or Tizanidine (trade names Zanaflex, Sirdalud) is a drug that is used as a muscle relaxant. It is a centrally acting α2 adrenergic agonist. It is used to treat the spasms related to nerve damage.

Haloperidol (Haldol) is used to treat psychotic disorders (conditions that cause difficulty telling the difference between things or ideas that are real and things or ideas that are not real). Haloperidol is also used to control motor tics (uncontrollable need to repeat certain body movements) and verbal tics

These are some very powerful drugs. I have never heard of this combination being used for PCS, especially the first and last. Muscle relaxants are not uncommon for the injuries associated with concussion.

Let us know how they effect you.

My best to you.

Are you taking any other drugs prescribed by other doctors?

Default ....

Hey Mark, thanks for the useful info, no im taking only these ones, he prescribed those ones for the muscles since i received several very strong kicks in different body parts, had few broken bones aswell.

And cause of my neck muscles, and the lump i got.

Thing is no one has told me yet i got PCIS, i got only headaches, rarely some minor shaking, and neck swelling, stifness and that lump. You cant even notice that i have had the injury.

And most of the people, iv noticed here, got a lot of symptoms when their MRI came back negative....this got me thinking about situation..
